First Reformed Church
Worship Ministry - 4-4:45PM

FRC WorshipBand LOGO.jpg

First Reformed Church Worship Ministry looks to carry out what Jesus said in John 4:23 - “the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.” We believe this to mean worship that is heartfelt and Christ-centered. Our desire is to honor the traditions of the faith while engaging the next generation in a united worship experience that is not dependent on genre, style or instrumentation. We look to take the gifts God has given us and use them together that He may be worshipped in spirit and in truth.

Sister Winchester - 5Pm & 6PM

Sister Winchester feature Wisconsin-based, small-town, real-life sisters Jenna Lee (Howell) and Shaun Marie (Krueger), who perform songs that showcase vocal harmonies that only siblings are born with the pleasure of creating. Their original songs are the marriage of two, distinct writing styles with influences of Southern rock, blues, and folk. They also cover songs that hold weight through their experience of growing up together.

Jenna has been playing piano since age 7, earning her degree in Music Education and a performance degree in bassoon. She has taught choir at middle- and high school levels, as well as teaching privately. Previously, she was with the band Benson Klemme, and also plays with Side Project and is seasonally spotlighted as vocalist in the Generations Jazz Band (all Sheboygan based). Shaun Marie began as lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist in the blues-rock band Consult the Briefcase. She was voted Wisconsin Area Music Industry’s 2015 Female Vocalist of the Year. In the acoustic world, she most recently played in the duo FEATherWOLF and toured the US and Central America. Her first solo EP, Leaving Home, can be found on iTunes and CD Baby. The sisters are joined on stage by respected central Wisconsin musicians Dave Howell (drums/percussion/vocals), Aaron Zepplin (lead guitar), and Fred Velpel (bass/harmonies).
